THREE-DAY WEEKENDS OF SKIING AND SNOWBOARDING
FRIDAY, APRIL 14 THROUGH SUNDAY, APRIL 30, 2023
It’s been a historic winter at Lee Canyon; to date, the resort has received more than 260 inches of snow, surpassing the previous record set in 2005 of 255 inches. Today, Lee Canyon announces Spring Sessions, a series of three-day weekends of skiing and snowboarding that start Friday, April 14, and run through Sunday, April 30. Continuing the resort’s fundraising efforts for the High Fives Foundation, Feel Good Fridays continue through Spring Sessions; every Friday, daily passes are $25. Daily passes for Saturday and Sunday Spring Sessions are $29. Lifts will operate from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and 2022/23 season passes will be honored. For more information, visit www.leecanyonlv.com.
“It’s been a record-setting season all around, snowfall, skier visits, and fun,” says Jim Seely, Lee Canyon’s director of marketing. “Spring means warmer daytime temperatures, so it’s also the perfect time to learn to ski and snowboard. We encourage everyone to get out and take part in this historic season.”
Lee Canyon concludes daily winter operations Sunday, April 9. The resort will mark the occasion by hosting Feel Good Weekender. Friday, April 7 through Sunday, April 9, daily tickets will be $25, and $5 of every purchase will be donated to High Fives, the resort’s nonprofit partner that helps mountain athletes recovering from life-altering injuries. Weekend festivities include live music and summer lawn games on the snow. On Sunday, April 7, Lee Canyon hosts its annual season finale Pond Skim and Costume Contest and an Easter egg hunt.
