Lee Canyon Hosts Third Annual Pray for Snow Party Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018

Lee Canyon, Southern Nevada’s premier winter and summer outdoor adventure escape, hosts its third annual Pray for Snow party at Skye Canyon Park (10111 W. Skye Canyon Park Drive) on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018 from 3 to 7 p.m. The après ski-themed party celebrates Lee Canyon’s upcoming 2018-19 winter season and is the perfect kick-off gathering for local outdoor enthusiasts. Attendees can pick up or purchase their 2018-19 Lee Canyon season passes during the event; this will be the final day for pre-season rates on passes.

The all-ages event is free and open to the public and includes food, beverages, a craft beer selection for attendees ages 21 and over, live music from local band Sunrise Sunset, a vendor village, and the chance to win prizes that include 2018-19 Lee Canyon lift tickets, a Snow Cabana Day at Lee Canyon (a one-day rental of Lee Canyon’s snow cabana that includes six lift tickets and a $300 food and beverage credit) and North Face jackets.

The event kicks off Lee Canyon’s Spread the Warmth winter coat and jacket drive benefitting Project 150; items needed include new or gently-used coats and jackets in adult male and female sizes. Items can be donated at Skye Canyon Park through Saturday, Nov. 17. For each item donated, Skye Canyon will donate a $25 match up to $5,000. The donations will be presented to Project 150 on Giving Tuesday, Nov. 27 at Skye Canyon Park.

Lee Canyon is a partner in Skye Canyon’s Skye Pass program that offers residents living in the master-planned community exclusive benefits including special rates on season passes as well as one-day lift and tubing tickets.

Pending appropriate weather conditions, Lee Canyon will open for its 2018-19 winter season in early December. During the winter season the resort is open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Guests planning on visiting Lee Canyon are encouraged to purchase lift and tubing tickets on their website for online discounts and to avoid sold-out dates.
